The Legacy Tree

Eventyriel is the label the archive gives to House Tyranius and to the people the records tie to it. Two of the three women filed under it belong to the house. The third was not part of it.

House Tyranius began on the salt flats of Korriban. The Sith call the old bloodlines Purebloods, and the Tyranius line kept using that word after the money ran out. Kharzoth Tyranius ran up the debts.

His wife Sythra, a Pureblood, died early and left two daughters. She had taught the elder to move unheard and to listen at doors, and the elder used both in the house until she left.

When the creditors stopped taking promises, Kharzoth went through his own rooms for something else to hand them. He counted two daughters, both named Cookius, and began writing to the men he owed about their ages.

The elder, Cookius Monsterius, heard the sums first. She worked out which daughter the figures were meant to buy and left for the Academy before anyone made an offer. The Academy renamed her. The records call her an assassin and give no address.

The younger, Cookius Tyranius, stayed with her father and the creditors' letters. When she understood the figures she sold Kharzoth to the Overseer who came for the debts. She took his signet on a cord and his name, and left for the Academy.

The sisters have not written to each other since. Each keeps her own account of why, in her own hand, and neither has read the other's. The archivists hold a copy of each. The two do not match.

Elora Vox is the third woman, and the family does not claim her. She is human, born on Coruscant, a Jedi Consular of the Republic and a Sage. A blue ribbon is tied at her wrist, and she changes the subject when asked who tied it.

The archive files her here on one record. She and Cookius Tyranius were both on Balmorra in the same war, and each says they met once. The two accounts disagree on who spoke first and what was said.
